titleStep 5: Enable and Install Your SSL/VPN Access

For Account Administrators only.

  1. In the Armor Management Portal (AMP), in the left-side navigation, click Infrastructure.
  2. Click SSL VPN.
  3. ClickMembers.
  4. Click the plus ( + ) icon.
  5. In the field, enter and select the name of the user, or their email address.

  6. Mark the desired data center or data centers that the user can connect to.

  7. ClickSubmit.

    • The newly added user will appear in the table; the table is organized in alphabetical order, based on the first name of the user.
  8. ClickClient.
  9. Click Download SSLVPN client.
    • AMP will automatically detect your operating system; however, you can click Download for another platform to view other operating system options.
    • When you open the client, follow the on-screen installation instructions.
    • ForWindowsusers, the client will download as a .zip file.

      • Extract the installation files to your local hard drive.
      • Launch theinstaller.exefile to begin the installation.

      ForMac OSusers, the client will download as a.tgzfile.

      • Extract the installation files to your local hard drive.
      • Access the mac_phat_clientfolder, and then run the naclient.pkg installer.
      • When you run the installer, you will see an error regarding the certificate. ClickContinue. (In a future release, Armor will resolve the issue.)
      • To launch the SSL VPN client, in yourApplicationsfolder, search fornaclient.
      • Ifyou run Mac OS 10.11 or higher, then please review Install SSL VPN Client for Mac OS, version 10.11 and higher.
  10. After installation, open the client.
    • In the drop-down menu,defaultwill be listed.



  11. ClickSettings.
    • To add a new connection, you must enter aConnectionAlias,Hostname/IP Address, andPort, which you can find in AMP.



  12. Return to AMP, specifically to theClientsection of theSSL VPNscreen.
  13. Use theClient Configurationtable to locate the data center and corresponding information to add to the client.



  14. UnderClient Configuration, copy theLocationinformation, and then paste that information intoConnectionAlias.
  15. UnderClient Configuration, copy theHOST/FQDNinformation, and then paste that information intoHostname/IP Address.
  16. UnderClient Configuration, copy thePortinformation, and then paste that information intoPort.
  17. ClickAdd.
  18. ClickOK.
  19. In the drop-down menu, select the newly created connection.
  20. Log into the client.
    • Your SSL VPN login credentials are the same credentials you use to access the Armor Management Portal (AMP).

titleStep 12: Add a User to an Organization

An organization allows you to specify when a group of users should be added to a specific support ticket, based on the subject matter of the ticket. For instance, for a billing-related ticket, you can indicate that members of the Billing organization should be notified. When a support ticket is shared with an organization, all users within the organization will receive an initial email notification.

  1. n the Armor Management Portal (AMP), in the left-side navigation, click Support.
  2. Click Tickets.
  3. Click Manage Organizations or Organizations.
  4. Select the desired organization.
  5. To add a user, enter and select the name of the user.
    • The change will be automatically saved.
